Bleeding

Bleeding is one of the leading symptoms of proctologic diseases of highly alarming character. However, the danger of trivializing by patients and doctors exists equally. Fresh, red blood originates mostly in haemorrhoids, anal fissures or enteritis (Morbuns Crohn, Colitis ulcerosa) but not always. The cause could also be a malign illness of the anal canal or of the intestines. Therefore, each bleeding should persuade the patient to see a doctor to clarify the cause of bleeding. The main cause of bleeding in children is an anal fissure which originates from a tendency to constipation. This problem can be solved by a particular nutrient diet. Of course, there are more causes of an anal bleeding. Therefore, a clarification of the symptom is very reasonable but one should not think immediately of cancer and have unnecessary anxiety. Even fear of a bad result of examination prevents many people to see a doctor. There is mainly a good solution.
